I’ve always loved off the shoulder tops but felt like they did not cover enough skin! I know that sounds so crazy, but I’m really modest when it comes to my wardrobe! When I found this off the shoulder sweater, I fell in love. Being super modest, I tried to find reasons NOT to buy it! I’m so glad I gave in and made my first off the shoulder purchase.
I’m in love with this sweater because it’s a color that pairs well with everything. I’ve bought sweaters from other places because they were cheap, but the quality wasn’t there. This is not the case at all. It’s really thick, so it’s great for colder weather. Since the foldover part is not stitched together, the amount that you want to cover your shoulders (for all you modest gals out there) is adjustable and completely customizable to your style. In these photos, I left it raised a little bit higher so my shoulders didn’t show. But on GNO, I showed a little bit of skin! #risqué
I also found this really cute corduroy skirt adorned with buttons. Being a sucker for neutrals, I had to pick this up! It’s so comfortable and the buttons snap together, so they are really easy to work with.
As for sizing, I purchased a size small in the sweater and a size small in the skirt. I’m 5’3 and normally wear sizes 00-0. Both small pieces could definitely fit a size 00-2 or even a size 4.
